I have been using Navara rice for the past 2 years or so. I am a diabetic for the last 17 years. I find from blood tests taken at home 2 hours after food that the rise in post prandial blood sugar is very moderate as compared to other kinds of white and polished rice. I am sure it is very good for diabetic rice eaters. Its glycemic index needs to be computed scientifically and declared, so that it will recommend itself as a good diabetic cereal. The only downside of the product is its high cost.
